Call it what you want:

Insulation. Immunity. Security. Undisruptable.

There’s a mega trend unfolding you might have missed over the 4th of America sellabration.

We’re not even 3 full years into the AI mad dash that went public in 2023 and Wall Street has already shifted their flight plan. Meanwhile the unaware small business owners are still at the AI-gate on standby.

Here’s what I mean:

Capital is moving quickly into companies that have none, nada, near-zilch chance of being disrupted by AI.

That means we’re right back to physical assets.

Or as Wall Street calls it, HALOs (heavy assets, low obsolescence). Capital heavy companies that own concrete, pipelines, logistics, manufacturing, energy, and supply chain systems.

From construction to the manufacturing of protein chips, probiotic sodas, and prescription pills. These companies are leveraging AI to improve their production and operations. . .

While also positioning themselves to NOT be disrupted by anything AI.

The titans of commerce realized many moons ago that AI is never going to replace your dog food, anti-aging face cream, Sleep Number bed, Patagonia jacket, hotel room, or ginger mocktail.

Trillions of dollars in revenue is right back to the timeless place where it all started:

The dirt.

The pure tech driven companies. . .

The ones that just require a cloud service, Claude Code, a website, and an app are facing unprecedented revenue threats.

These capital light companies, with no hard assets, are in a mega economic tornado I have coined as:

“The Techdustrial Revolution.”

Where tech and industrial capabilities are moving lock-step at lightning speeds.

The industrial revolution made America’s first millionaires. The technological revolution minted billionaires. And now the “techdustrial revolution” is spawning a new generation of trillionaires.

Exciting times ahead if you are positioning to capture the wealth being created inside “techdustrial” companies. A stressful re-pivoting nightmare if you’re not.

Strategically speaking, the days of ordinary consulting and advisory are bankrupt as the Yellow Pages, AOL, and Blockbuster.

While others are flocking to overcrowded beaches, use this time to grab a mocktail and position your business to serve the “Techdustrial” companies.

Just make sure to research and confirm they have a hard-asset stack.

If their entire business is “in the cloud”, proceed smartly with both eyes glued open.

Don’t drink the near-beer and never confuse an AI-first pitch party with a profitable and disruptionless business.
